This environment is complemented by our comprehensive benefit offerings that include health insurance and a 403(b) retirement program.JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage the classroom effectively to encourage student participation, minimize distractions and maintain a positive learning environmentMaintain a clean, respectful, and orderly classroom, and follow classroom and school procedures as directed by the schoolCommunicate in a friendly and positive manner towards staff/administrators, students, parents, etc.Protect students, equipment, materials, and facilitiesEnsure the safety/confidentiality of students at all timesKeep records on attendance, accident/incidentsLeaves notes for the regular teacher at the end of the teaching day wentAdapt teaching methods to fit the needs of each individual studentImplement and teach lesson plans and instructions as directed by the absent teacher, or consult with principal or other responsible staff if lesson plan is not provided
