Saint Joseph School seeks reliable candidates for our substitute teacher pool. Our school day is 7:30 until 2:00pm The ideal candidate possesses patience reliable transportation and a keen commitment to Catholic elementary education. Join us!Responsibilities - Supervise and engage students in grades PreK8 - Ensure a safe inclusive and respectful environment for all children - Communicate effectively with parents teachers and fellow staff - Assist with snack distribution and cleanup - Maintain accurate attendance records and incident reports - Uphold school policies and values in all interactions Qualifications - Experience working with children in educational settings preferred - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to manage groups of children with patience and positivity - Must pass a background check and complete required training - The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop kneel crouch orcrawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally liftand/or move up to 50 pounds. Additionally employee must be able to adequately and accurately see hear and speak to students and others in the program.
