Our 10-week Summer Internship Program offers you the opportunity to work within Global Business Services (GBS) and the Financial Reporting team supporting critical accounting and reporting functions across North America and EMEA.As part of our Summer Internship Program cohort youll participate in orientation networking events development workshops and volunteer activities. Youll work side by side with talented teams to learn about the business and contribute to meaningful initiatives that shape our financial processes and reporting standards.If you enjoy working with numbers analyzing data and supporting compliance efforts this role offers a unique opportunity to apply your skills in a dynamic environment. Youll help manage accounting processes assist with SEC reporting and contribute to audits and process improvements.Heres the best part: crush your internship and you could be eligible for a full-time offer to join our Early Career Program after graduation!What youll doAssist with accounting for North America and EMEA expensesUtilize general ledger applications to prepare monthly journal entries and perform monthly/quarterly account analysisSupport Accounts Receivable (AR) processes including tracking payments reconciling accounts and resolving discrepanciesAssist with SEC reporting and compliance: contribute to preparation of SEC filings (10-Q 10-K 8-K) quarterly disclosure committee materials and SOX controlsMonitor and reconcile daily share transactions prepare wire transfers and support monthly expense reimbursement reportingFacilitate internal and external audits and respond to ad hoc requests to support senior management decision-makingCompile data for business partners to review accruals during month-end and quarter-end closeSupport quarterly metrics reporting and process improvement initiativesParticipate in team meetings with GBS leadership to explore ways to streamline and improve processesPerform other ad hoc duties as necessaryWhat you getBroad Finance Exposure Contribute to projects spanning accounting reporting compliance and process improvementCareer Launchpad Build real-world skills and set the foundation for a future at Invescoand beyondDedicated Mentorship Get paired with a mentor to guide your experience and support your growthIntern Community Collaborate share ideas and build lasting connections with fellow internsPathway to Full-Time Strong performance may lead to a full-time offer through our Early Career ProgramReal Work Real Impact Tackle meaningful projects and gain insight into finance operations at a global investment firmMinimum Qualifications Currently enrolled in a bachelors degree program and graduating by summer of 2027Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scaleAll majors welcome with an emphasis on AccountingA demonstrated interest in accountingGeneral knowledge of accounting principles gained through coursework Must be able to work in one of Invescos offices where the program is availableMust be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. We do not offer any type of employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program.
