Our 10-week Summer Internship Program offers you the opportunity to work within our Accounting team supporting the financial operations that drive client success.As part of our Summer Internship Program cohort youll participate in orientation networking events development workshops and volunteer activities. Youll work side by side with talented teams to learn about the business and contribute to meaningful initiatives that shape our financial reporting and client experience.If you enjoy working with numbers analyzing data and ensuring accuracy in financial records this role offers a unique opportunity to apply your skills in a dynamic environment. Youll help maintain accounting records prepare reports and support audits that keep our operations running smoothly.Heres the best part: crush your internship and you could be eligible for a full-time offer to join our Early Career Program after graduation!What youll doDevelop maintain and update accounting records for client assetsAssist in preparing financial statements client reporting information consultant reports and other financial reports on a monthly and quarterly basisSupport Senior Accountants Assistant Controllers and Controllers with external audits for properties and portfoliosCoordinate and manage general accounting functions to ensure accuracy of ledger accounts and property financial statementsAssist with development and implementation of accounting policies and proceduresMaintain strong working relationships with portfolio and asset managers as part of the portfolio teamCommunicate effectively with third-party property management accountantsPrepare monthly/quarterly distribution notices to clients and calculate advisory feesReconcile client working capital and tax/insurance escrow accounts monthlyPerform other duties as assignedWhat you getBroad Accounting Exposure Contribute to projects spanning financial reporting audits and client communicationsCareer Launchpad Build real-world skills and set the foundation for a future at Invescoand beyondDedicated Mentorship Get paired with a mentor to guide your experience and support your growthIntern Community Collaborate share ideas and build lasting connections with fellow internsPathway to Full-Time Strong performance may lead to a full-time offer through our Early Career ProgramReal Work Real Impact Tackle meaningful projects and gain insight into accounting at a global investment firmMinimum Qualifications Currently enrolled in a bachelors degree program and graduating by summer of 2027Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scaleAll majors welcome with an emphasis on AccountingMust be able to work in one of Invescos offices where the program is availableMust be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. We do not offer any type of employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program.
