RRD is seeking an energetic enthusiastic & motivated student to join our team in St. Charles IL next Summer as a Network Engineer Intern!  ***THIS IS A HYBRID POSITION*** Job SummaryWe have an extensive customer base across industries in virtually every private and public sector an unmatched portfolio of capabilities a proven management team and the financial flexibility allowing investments in innovative technologies and growth opportunities to meet communications challenges. Responsibilities:Standardize consistently the SNMP configurations to RRDs standard/best practices access mechanismAudit network devices remote access capability and convert any Telnet to SSH.Assist in the implementation of solutions following IT standards and senior engineer designs for corporate WAN/LAN implementation throughout the US and Canada.Execute/perform configuration changes and coordinate installations with senior engineers site contacts and vendors.Configuring basic Cisco routers and switchesMust be available during the whole summer term     Qualifications : The intern candidate should be a full-time student at an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor or higher degree in IT or engineering related field.Must have a good working knowledge of Windows Office and Visio.Some basic networking backgroundExcellent oral and written communications skills.Good interpersonal and team skills.Positive attitude and outstanding customer service orientation.Accuracy and attention to detail.Plus:Took few networking and security classes in colleges or university.Additional Information : The rate of pay for this role at the noted location is $24.00 / addition to base pay depending on the role the total compensation package may also include overtime shift differential call-in and stand-by pay.
