As part of a Summer Internship Program cohort you will have a variety of initiatives to keep you engaged throughout the summer including orientation networking events development workshops and volunteer activities. Youll work side-by-side with talented teams to learn about the business.Heres the best part: crush your internship and you could be eligible for a full-time offer to join our Early Career Program after graduation!This internship is specifically for the broadly syndicated bank loan team within Invesco Senior Secured Management. ISSM is a $46 billion private credit platform and a subsidiary of Invesco Ltd. an independent asset manager with $1.3 trillion in assets and more than 8000 employees worldwide. This position will be in Downers Grove (outside of Chicago). What youll doWork with the team to build knowledge of the leveraged finance and high yield bond markets. Learn to analyze investment opportunities and make investment decisions within those sectorsDevelop credit analysis and financial modeling skills to assist in the preparation of credit proposals inclusive of company and industry analysis capital structure analysis cash flow projections and evaluation of credit worthinessAssist in the on-going monitoring and review of existing transactions including historical financial analysis cash flow modeling and projections industry analysis and assessments of internal and external ratingsCollaborate with cross-functional teams on assigned tasks and initiativesAttend team meetings complete assigned projects within established timelines and present findings to managementPrepare presentations summaries and other materials for internal and external stakeholdersSeek feedback and guidance from mentors and team members to support learning and growthSupport the team in researching industry trends financial statements and market dataParticipate in training sessions and networking opportunities to further develop your technical and professional skillsWhat you getA Launchpad for Your Career Get ready to build real skills and set yourself up for a future at Invesco (and beyond).Your Own Mentor Youll be paired with a mentor whos got your back answers your questions and helps you navigate your summer.Intern Community Join a crew of fellow interns to collaborate share ideas and get to knowboth in and out of the office.Pathway to Future Opportunities Nail your internship and you could be eligible for a full-time offer to join our Early Career Program after graduation!Real Experience Real Impact Work on meaningful projects learn from our team and see what its like to work at a global investment firm.Minimum QualificationsCurrently enrolled in a bachelors degree program and be a rising Junior graduating by summer of 2027Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scaleAll majors are welcomed with an emphasis on Finance Accounting Mathematics Stats Economics Computer Science Engineering Data Analytics or Business-related fieldA demonstrated interest in investmentsMust be able to work in one of Invescos offices where the program is availableMust be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. We do not offer any type of employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program.
