MML owns and operates all its properties and only takes on projects that align with our vision and values.What we’re looking for:We are looking for a Graphic Design Intern who is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about hospitality. The Graphic Design Intern will be tasked with various work assignments and activities structured to enable them to gain the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform in a creative setting.What you will do:Provide entry-level professional services, under the supervision of the Studio Director, as appropriate to the day-to-day operating objectives of the Art & Branding Department.Assist in the design and production of a variety of marketing collateral, including print ads, digital ads, posters, flyers, brochures, and digital signage.Provide regular updates to existing collateral.Help ensure visual consistency of the brand across various touch points.Participate in projects and programs designed to develop skills and expertise appropriate to the needs of the organization.Participate in the planning and implementation of department projects and initiatives within the area of expertise.Interact directly with colleagues, clientele, and/or other internal or external constituencies in the planning of assignments and the resolution of day-to-day operational problems.Receive guidance, training, and mentoring from professional personnel in planning and carrying out activities and assignments.Work independently and within a team to meet established deadlines.RequirementsProficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign)Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent typography and layout skillsExcellent time managementExcellent communication skillsAbility to work collaborativelyIllustration skills considered a plusMust possess and maintain a current, valid Driver LicensePosition details:3 months with possibility of extending10-20 hours per weekOn-site, applicants must be localPhysical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
