We bring a deep range of capabilities with road work rehab storm drain placement and milling and repaving.We are looking for an Experienced Civil Superintendent to join our team.Responsible for field operations on assigned projects the right superintendent candidate must demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills. Responsible for managing the companys policies and expectations for safety integrity excellence an open communication the ideal candidate must be organized and handle time management to the fullest capacity to meet project deadlines. We are looking for someone that has a CAN DO attitude and can perform the following:Oversee field personnel budget daily/weekly schedules and construction operations.Pre-plans work activities with Project Manager to develop best means and methods including safety action plans.Provide leadership and direction to construction personnelSupervise and schedule grading drainage paving milling and other miscellaneous construction activitiesTake an active role in emphasizing safety quality and production leading by exampleCarry out job duties while maintaining Gregory Constructions Core ValuesCoordinate equipment and crews and other job-related activities to maximize efficiencyDevelop and train Foremen Heavy Equipment Operators and LaborersAssist with survey and field layout.RequirementsAt least 5 years DOT experience.Qualifications:10 years experience as a Road Work superintendent (Required)Must be able and willing to travelDOT Certifications preferredOSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred (can provide for the right candidate)CPR Training and Certification before placement required Work Location:In the Boydton VA area.This full-time position will include paid time off health insurance dental insurance and a company matched 401K as well as other perks.
