The facility is located in California City, CA. 93505.Job SummaryThe Supervising Facility Manager is responsible for overall management of the facility day-to-dayoperations that they are assigned to within Beloved Ones STRTP.Responsibilities• Supports BOSTRTP mission, vision, philosophies and goals• Adheres to the requirements and regulations as set forth by the Title 22, the latest Interim Licensing .Standards, COSS, Community Care Licensing• Adheres to all current federal state laws, as well as to Beloved Ones; Policies and Procedures, including thesafeguarding of confidential healthcare information and compliance with the Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA)• Reports immediately any suspected incidents of child abuse or neglect by following all MandatedReporting guidelines.• Reports all incidents, minor and serious, provides updates to mental health staff, CFTs, and/oradministrator• Attends scheduled meetings as required• Completes other duties as directed by the Program Administrator, or designeeDuties:• Supervising direct care staff and ensuring appropriate care and supervision is provided to children inaccordance to law, licensing regulations, and BOSTRTP & policies.• Managing all aspects of the facility and train staff to ensure compliance of house rules/procedures• Have weekly meetings with all house staff, set agendas for meetings, and ensure minutes are taken• Ensure that bi-monthly resident council meetings are taking place.• Ensure daily duty task logs are being completed by staff on each shift.• Supervision, protection, and care of children at all times, individually and in groups• Assistance to each child in working with a group and in handling individual problems• Administration of discipline and setting of limits for behavior that are consistent with trauma-informed carestandards.• Notation of youth/NMD & progress; identification of the possible need for additional professional services; andcommunication of such findings to professional staff.• Assistance with the provision of or access to core services and supports, daily activities, and emotional and socialsupports, as necessary• Reporting to the Administrator and making recommendations to address identified problems• Ensures the safety and basic care to the residents at Beloved Ones STRTP.• Supervise and provide training to residents in personal hygiene, grooming, etc.• Have residents ready for school bus on time.• Prepare and supervise meals and snacks, providing training as per schedule.• Supervise and facilitate all recreational and leisure time.• Plan and facilitate activities (games, play, projects, including routine daily activities).• Keep house clean and laundry done.• Attends staff meetings and trainings as required.• Provide input in staff meetings to develop individual rehabilitation plans as necessary.• Observe and note changes in behavior such as side effects of medication or symptoms of illness.• Follow individual treatment plans to help the resident attain success.• Document activities and maintain daily log.• Administer and record medications on proper form• If on duty at night, ensure that you are alert and conducting proper bed checks• Immediately report any suspected incident of child abuse, neglect or and follow all Mandate Reportingguidelines• Facilitate weekly house cleaning, teaching residents to clean effectively and to properly sanitize hightraffic areas.• Assess and correct any problems within skill level.• Submit work order request to Facility Manager for any work that requires a skilled worker such as majorelectrical and plumbing issues.• Be knowledgeable in and follow COSS Interim licensing standards, Title 22, and BOSTRTP policies andprocedures• Supervise direct care staff and facility managers• Any other duties that may be necessary to ensure the health and safety of youth/NMOs assign toThis is a full-time, minimum 40 hours per week position. Work hours mustbe flexible to include some weekend, holiday, and evening hours• Must have at least a High School Diploma or a GED• Must be at least 21 years of age• A minimum of two (1) years of prior experience as direct care staff in a residential treatment center servingchildren in the child welfare system• Experience working with children diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and behavioraland emotional disorders is preferredKnowledge, Skills & Abilities• Ability to assist residents during meal preparation, housekeeping responsibilities, personal hygiene,Ability to support the agency culture, growth, and success through• positivity communication, accountability, andAbility to appropriately accept feedback through the supervision process thus displaying the willingness to• Demonstrate the ability to be a positive role modeland have excellent leadership skillsAbility to effectively work as a part of a professional teamAdditional Requirements• Proof of valid California Drivers License• Access to reliable transportation• Proof of valid/current auto insurance (only required for employees who transport clients)• Copy of official state driving record• Three (3) employment references• Cleared criminal background check and signed statement regarding felony indictments/convictions• Cleared TB test results (current within 12 months prior to employment)• Working cellular telephonePhysical, DemandsWith or without reasonable accommodation, the physical and mental requirements of this job may include thefollowing: seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly.
