With a wide range of services and proactive approaches to care Concentra colleagues provide exceptional service to employers and exceptional care to their employees.The Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounts payable department supervising staff and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices and vendor payments. The Accounts Payable Supervisor is also responsible for enforcing internal controls and polices improving processes coordinating payments and collaborating with other departments like Finance Accounting and Procurement.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and develop accounts payable staff.Work with manager to set goals and objectives for the team and manage workload distributions.Collaborate with manager to establish and enforce standard procedures and internal controls.Monitor daily activities and resolve complex issues or disputes.Ensure the timely and accurate processing of all invoices and payments.Coordinate and manage payment runs (e.g. checks and ACH).Oversee vendor onboarding including W-9 collection and 1099 reporting.Reconcile vendor accounts and work with vendors to address inquiries and payment issues.Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies.Support month-end and year-end close processes.Monitor accounts payable aging reports.Work with manager to identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency.Create process documentation to ensure a clear understanding of the operating procedures for all Accounts Payable processes.Work closely with other departments such as procurement fixed assets accounting and finance to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth operations.Support special projects and undertake other duties as requested.QualificationsEducation Level: Some CollegeDegree must be from an accredited college or university.Job-Related ExperienceCustomarily has at least the following experience: 5 years in Accounts Payable or accounting related field at least 2 years of supervisory experienceMinimum of 3 years in an office environmentExperience working in a high-volume multiple facility operating structure environment is a plusAccounts payable high-volume experience with various AP vendor types is a plusGood interpersonal skillsExcellent communication leadership and problem-solving skillsDetailed-oriented and highly organizedBasic Math SkillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a personal sense of urgency and attention to detailJob-Related Skills/CompetenciesConcentra Core Competencies of Service Mentality Attention to Detail Sense of Urgency Initiative and FlexibilityAbility to make decisions or solve problems by using logic to identify key facts explore alternatives and propose quality solutionsOutstanding customer service skills as well as the ability to deal with people in a manner which shows tact and professionalismThe ability to properly handle sensitive and confidential information (including HIPAA and PHI) in accordance with federal and state laws and company policiesAttention to detail and accuracy.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn other systems as needed (Oracle)Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Work with leadership team to identify areas of risk or potential improvements.Possess a continual sense of curiosity and desire to improve processes.Ability to follow company and departmental policies and guidelinesAdditional Data401(k) Retirement Plan with Employer MatchMedical Vision Prescription Telehealth & Dental PlansLife & Disability InsurancePaid Time OffColleague Referral Bonus ProgramTuition ReimbursementCommuter BenefitsDependent Care Spending AccountEmployee DiscountsWe will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process to perform essential job functions and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment.
