Come and play an important part on our incredible team today!What you get to do:As a Supervisor in Aquatics youll play a lead role in ensuring positive safe memorable guest experiences. Youll strive to exceed guest expectations while also overseeing the Aquatics team. You will:Provide exemplary service and ensure Operations Standards are met by resolving guest concerns investigating and providing recommendations to correct reoccurring guest issues ensuring all team members are providing the highest level of guest courtesy recognizing and rewarding team members who provide exceptional serviceInterview and hire leadership team membersSupervise train and counsel team members team leads and assistant supervisors while enforcing and complying with safety procedures guidelines and park policies and proceduresEnsure pertinent paperwork is completed prior to during and after trainingResponsible for team member files schedules employee audits and other tasks as assignedEnsure compliance of Child Labor Laws with regards to breaks lunches and hours worked per dayOversee water and first aid send-outsMonitor and control labor budgets as directed by the Aquatics ManagerManage the area opening and closing procedures and ensure all team members complete tasks within a timely mannerWhat it takes to succeed:A passion for customer serviceExcellent multi-tasking and time management skillsOutstanding communication and problem-solving abilitiesActive listener with the ability to anticipate guests needsAbility to work in a team to promote and ensure a safe and secure environmentAbility to assist with pre and post season setup and breakdown on a limited basis. This involves both administrative and outside workFlexibility to perform varied dutiesWhat else is important:At least 18 years of age preferreHigh School Diploma preferredMust have at least one (1) year of leadership experience or equivalent external experienceMust have an American Red Cross Lifeguarding or Shallow Water Lifeguarding First Aid CPR/AED for Lifeguards and Water Park Skills certification or must be able to pass all requirements to obtain certification in these courses.Maintain an acceptable level of proficiency of park knowledge water rescue CPR/AED and First Aid SkillsMust be able to act responsibly with a high attention to safetyMust be able to lift push pull and/or carry up to 50 lbsPosition engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shiftPerform the following physical activities: kneeling squatting bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead reach overhead simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing)Perform cleaning duties; including use of cleaning chemicalsMust be willing to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standardsMust be able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather to include extreme heatMust provide flexible consistent availability (including nights weekends and holidays) and adhere to our Holiday and Availability agreementConsistently practice safe work habits including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and reporting unsafe situationsAbility to successfully complete all legal company and department training requirements within established timelinesThe perks of the position: Ambassadors will enjoy a fun fast-paced environment and great teammates as well as:FREE park admissionDiscounts on park admission tickets and passes for family and friendsPark discounts on food merchandise etc.Scholarship opportunitiesExclusive employee events and giveawaysEEO Employer:SEAWORLD PARKS & ENTERTAINMENT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
