Supervisor- Electrical Maintenance (E&I) at OceanaGold

Job Description

Responsibilities:Supervise and direct Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technicians in maintenance repair and installation of electrical and instrumentation systems.Oversee troubleshooting repair and maintenance of complex electrical circuits instrumentation systems control loops and associated equipment in crushing grinding gold recovery and water treatment facilities.Ensure compliance with electrical codes safety standards and company policies in all E&I operations.Manage inventory of parts and materials and assist in preparing annual budgets for the E&I department.Develop and implement training programs for E&I personnel promoting skill development and safety awareness.Coordinate with contractors and capital projects team on E&I-related work ensuring quality and compliance.Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports on maintenance performance indicators to the Maintenance Superintendent.Respond to emergency situations as required and provide supervision outside normal business hours for shutdowns and major works.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and participate in safety programs.Perform other duties as directed by the Maintenance Superintendent.Qualifications : Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics or related field; or Associates Degree with 4 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of experience in electrical systems and electronic instrumentation.5 years of production electrical experience in heavy industrial plants preferably in crushing grinding milling and related equipment.Advanced knowledge of PLC programming industrial electricity and safety practices.Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals drawings and schematics.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and instrumentation systems.Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in supervising teams.Proficient in computer operations including SCADA word processing and spreadsheets.Ability to respond to emergencies and work flexible hours as needed.Core Competencies:Drive for resultsInfluence and leadershipProblem-solving and judgmentProfessionalism and initiativeAdditional Information : WHATS ON OFFER:Competitive salary short-term and long-term bonusComprehensive benefits package including health vision and dental insurance 401K and moreGreat residential location close to Charlotte SC and is located between the mountains and sea.Living Our Values recognition programPaid training available and professional developmentSupportive work environment with a focus on safety and teamworkAccess to OceanaGold Employee Assistance Program (EAP) YOU MATTER: OceanaGold is committed to providing equal employment opportunities.
