Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSupervisor/Floor Tech Job Details:We are looking for full-time and part-time accomplished floor techs in Central Virginia.Location: Richmond and Surrounding AreaPay: $20-30/hrHours: 40 hours/ Mon-Sun (Some weekends) generally afternoon to evening. However, in summer can be morning shifts.Job Duties:Strip, refinish, buff and burnish hard surface floors.Experience leading crews.Machine scrub tile and grout floors.Clean carpets using extraction, low moisture encapsulation and roto/bonnet techniques.Treat and restore various types of stone floors.Clean upholstered furniture and cubicle panels.Other specialty cleaning projects.When necessary, perform cleaning tasks which can include trash removal, vacuuming, dusting, mopping and restroom cleaning.Follow all company and client rules, policies and regulationsJob Qualifications:Be authorized to work in the United States.Minimum Age: 21 years oldEducation and work history that demonstrates work ethic and responsibility.Ability to communicate effectively with client contacts, building occupants, and co-workers.Ability to work in a team environment.Able to lead, guide team members.Strong work ethic and do whatever is necessary to get the job done.Physically able to be on your feet the entire shift and perform all tasks which include walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, crouching and lifting.Floor Techs - Demonstrated experience and expertise in refinishing VCT, machine scrubbing ceramic tile and stone floors, and cleaning carpets.About Us:Proudly serving Virginia since 1974, ServiceMaster Services is the go-to provider of daily janitorial services.
