He is also responsible for training the team leaders who will then take charge of the day-to-day management of the work. Thus he ensures the conformity of the finished product while motivating his employees to achieve results. Finally he is reactive to any problem that may arise and is proactive in finding solutions to problems.Roles and Responsibilities Management of deadlines and compliance with production standardsOrganize the work of the teams according to the project schedule and the priorities established by the Plant ManagerEnsure adequate transmission of information to team leadersCommunicate daily objectives to the whole team and ensure daily follow-upEnsure a good distribution of the teams according to the projects in progress as well as manage the FlexingPlan upcoming work in conjunction with team leaders to ensure materials and information are available to employees on the production lineMaintain daily attendance and attendance records and ensure constant communication with management for resolution of potential issues or disciplineControls the quality of the work provided by the employees of the different departmentsMotivates its employees to ensure optimal teamwork within the department and across departmentsLeads by example in terms of Company Health and Safety regulations and policiesActively participates in the continuous improvement of processes and operational processesEnsure close monitoring of internal non-conformitiesComplete production sheets and files properly (TQC rework time waste inspection test report shipping timecard training etc.)Report any incident or accident to the Plant Manager and the Human Resources department (investigation report follow-up etc.)Coordinate necessary maintenance & repairs with the maintenance department and the Plant ManagerManage 5S daily maintenance and work areas so that they are clean and functionalTrain the work team according to the talents and weaknesses of each to ensure adequate staff progressionEvaluate the performance of each member of its staff as well as motivate employeesAbility to manage special projectsOther responsibilities as assignedQualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalentExperience: 3 yrs experience in managing a team5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing facilityComputer Skills:Microsoft OfficeCertificates & Licenses: N/AProven interpersonal and communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsBe a good team colleagueExcellent ability to delegate and transfer authority when necessaryRecognized skills in learning and developmentStrong skills as a motivator and ability to inspire employees to achieve resultsStrong interpersonal skills ease of working with a multitude of personalitiesDeal with conflict management with tact and easeAssess your own strengths and weaknessesProficiency in English communication both oral and written.Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.We are an equal opportunity employer and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
