Job Description

Job Summary: Supplier Quality Engineer (Fort Worth TX) - Develop and maintain PFMEA Control Plans and statistical control plans (Cpks) with suppliers. - Ensure project/process control documentation meets contractual and compliance requirements. - Drive a Zero Defect culture using advanced quality tools (statistical analysis PFMEA 8D corrective actions). - Create and maintain PFMEA and Control Plans documentation on enterprise platforms per Parker standards. - Perform virtual and onsite supplier quality audits. - Support development and implementation of Supplier APQP/PPAP processes. - Collaborate with Procurement to qualify new suppliers and manage supplier risk mitigation for part transitions. - Ensure quality assurance for new product introductions at supplier sites. - Coordinate with Supplier Quality team to improve supplier quality performance. - Interpret engineering blueprints specifications and work instructions. - Apply hands-on measurement techniques and use measurement tools effectively. - Analyze and mine data including using pivot charts for reporting. - Perform root cause analysis and structured problem-solving. - Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Excel Word PowerPoint) for documentation and analysis. - Ensure compliance with ITAR regulations (US Person status required). - Travel domestically up to 20% as needed. Must Have: - Experience in root cause analysis statistical analysis PFMEA Six Sigma tools and supplier quality audits. - Bachelors Degree (BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred). - Experience with APQP/PPAP preferably in aerospace or automotive industries (machined parts: valves fittings couplings etc.). Preferred: - 5 years proven process improvement experience using Lean methodologies (5S mistake-proofing process capability tools). - 4 years experience as a Quality Engineer in aerospace. - Automotive industry experience especially with machined parts. Key Competencies: - Machining/Assembly/Manufacturing experience. - Strong problem-solving skills and sense of urgency. - Excellent customer focus and collaboration skills.
