Supply Chain Analyst

The Supply Chain Analyst will play a critical role in managing 15-20 suppliers, primarily for their plant operations. If a supplier provides parts to both the local plant and headquarters, the Analyst will oversee inventory management for both locations.

Responsibilities:

1. Focus on tactical projects with some involvement in strategic initiatives.
2. Represent the supply chain on cross-functional business unit teams.
3. Propose, implement, and support multi-site or high-level business tools and process enhancements.
4. Analyze and document processes using standards and methodologies.
5. Examine the entire supply chain, including logistics costs, materials, and sources.
6. Recommend improvements based on supply chain analysis.
7. Lead integration of new high-level process changes.
8. Manage large projects related to changes in the supply chain.
9. Communicate project status to all levels of management.
10. Develop and deliver business plans or models for operations management and other supply chain leaders.
11. Define high-risk problems, collect and analyze data, offer solutions, and implement changes to achieve results.
12. Identify, develop, and complete strategic level work plans for the entire supply chain or high-risk projects.
13. Own, develop, and implement business processes and related improvements.
14. Facilitate small to medium teams with explicit objectives and scope.
15. Manage entire supply chain cross-functional projects.
16. Align project or process improvement goals with functional business objectives.
17. Work independently across the entire supply chain in a non-hierarchical organization.
18. Provide backup support for area coordinators, supervisors, and managers.
19. Lead tactical projects of 3 to 5 people or direct the work of others within projects or process improvement activities.
20. Provide indirect work direction to individuals assigned to strategic projects.

Essential Skills:

• Experience with SAP (2-3 years post-college).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including V-lookups, H-lookups, and Pivot Tables.
• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Supply Chain.
• Ability to conduct 5Y or 8D investigations for root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract position based out of Holland, MI.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
