People wholl bring new perspectives solve tough problems and thrive as part of a team.If thats you and this role fits we want to hear from you.Join the power movement as a Contract Supply Chain CoordinatorAs a core member of the Supply Chain Team the Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for facilitating the smooth safe and orderly movement of materials inventory and tooling at the company site in Somerville MA. This role is significant in ensuring an efficient operational flow of material movement to and from the production line maintaining inventory accuracy and upholding all safety and compliance standards.What youll do:Load unload and transport materials to designated staging and operational areasOrganize the movement of materials based on immediate operational and production needsMaintain the physical condition of all staging areas and ensure a clean work environmentMaintain materials equipment and supplies required to meet production needsCollaborate with other teams to effectively coordinate material deliveries and placementsDemonstrate the ability to operate various material handling and powered equipmentReceive incoming shipments verify purchase order information and appropriately stock itemsMaintain accurate records of all material movements and current inventory levels and complete physical inventories cycle counts and random or receipt audits to maintain inventory accuracyPick and verify kits for production useObey and enforce all CFS Safety guidelines and policies on the loading dock and in the warehouseCorrect any unsafe conditions or behaviors immediatelyAssist in maintaining Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for incoming materialsEnsure full compliance with Hazardous Material storage plansWhat were looking for:High School Diploma or equivalent3 years of experience in Inventory Control or a similar supply chain role2 years of experience working with an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systemUnderstanding of inventory management and warehouse operationsStrong problem-solving skills and an ability to quickly research and resolve inventory discrepanciesAbility to learn quickly and adapt to new information and environmentsMust-have requirements: Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbsPerform activities such as stopping typing standing and sitting for extended periods of timeDedication to safety to mitigate hazards that may include heat cold noise fumes strong magnets lead (Pb) high voltage and cryogenics$30 - $41 an hourThis is a contract position.#LI-OnsiteAt CFS we excel in fast-paced environments driven by our values of integrity execution impact and self-critique.
