Will play a leading role in the process of developing the supply chain goals and objectives that align with the overall Roofing Group. As the Manager, you will play a crucial role in integrating advanced technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, providing you with the opportunity to shape the future of supply chain management at CertainTeed. This role will supervise key supply chain employees directly and indirectly. It offers a unique chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and IT, fostering a cohesive and efficient supply chain operation.Strategic Planning: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company's overall business objectivesTechnology Integration: Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of supply chain technologies, including AI and SAP, to enhance efficiency and effectivenessM&A: Develop plans to integrate the supply chain systems and technologies during mergers and acquisitionsProcess Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to streamline supply chain operationsCollaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and IT, to ensure cohesive and efficient supply chain operationsData Analysis: Utilize data analytics and AI to monitor supply chain performance and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvementData Analytics and Reporting: Lead the development and implementation of data analytics tools and reporting systems to provide actionable insights for supply chain strategy and operations. Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of data and reports to support informed decision-makingDigital Transformation: Drive digital transformation initiatives within the supply chain function to enhance efficiency, transparency, and cost-effectiveness. Identify and implement innovative technology solutions, such as AI, machine learning, and automation, to streamline procurement processesVendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectivenessCompliance: Ensure all supply chain activities comply with relevant regulations and standardsProject Management: Lead the overall execution of supply chain projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goalsStakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain strategies with business goals. Provide training and support to supply chain team members on data analytics tools, technology platforms, and digital processesIs this job for you ?Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. Requires at least 8 to 10 years of supply chain, information technology, or engineering experience. Proven experience in supply chain strategy, technology implementation, and process optimization. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Trained in Project Management Methodology with proven skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. 20% required for travel Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent organizational skills to plan, coordinate, and execute projects effectively. Ability to set clear objectives, define project scope, and develop detailed plans. Effective communication skills to engage and align stakeholders across various functions. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies to track progress and manage risks. Problem-solving skills to address challenges and ensure project success. In-depth understanding of supply chain technologies and systems Exceptional analytical, decision-making, and data-driven skills Strong leadership and team management abilities Experience in vendor management and maintaining strong vendor relationships. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
