Job DescriptionJob DescriptionNOW HIRING 2nd shift Fulfillment Supervisor in LENEXA, KS!$19-$21 per hour, commensurate with experience!Job Summary:Reporting to the Fulfillment Manager, the Fulfillment Supervisor is responsible for managing all the activities related to the fulfillment process. These duties include but are not limited to product fabrication, order preparation, order collation and packaging, and shipment processing and manifesting. This individual will also be responsible for workflow management, staffing, all administrative staff management issues as well as department budgetary tracking and development.Duties and Responsibilities:Continued development and management of cohesive workflow processEnsure correct work is flowing through department in an accurate, efficient and timely fashionCommunication of production schedule priorities within the departmentPrioritize, facilitate & expedite all production activities ensuring they are consistent with customer needs (due dates)Ensure accuracy & completeness of reporting toolsMonitor collection methods, accuracy and reporting frequency for all metrics and data for improvementAccurate & timely collection and analysis of data used to measure process improvement and workflow management against established department metrics (Daily, weekly, monthly and annually)Continued development and process improvement including but not limited to: Workflow system developmentRecommendation and development of future automated order picking systems and processesBenchmark & track the latest shipping systems and small package delivery service options with the intent on minimizing freight expense to GSP and our customersDevelop and provide regular status updates to the pertinent personnel and senior managementEnsure the positive and required interaction between Fulfillment & other departmentsRefine, communicate, and manage to the department policies and proceduresHire, maintain, and refine the Fulfillment Services staff based on workload requirements and customer needsEstablish and monitor all training (New and existing) activities for the departmentShift differential for 2nd shift!Who we are?As a family-owned business since 1978, GSP Companies strives to make retail better.
