Job DescriptionThe Supply Chain Generalist supports the supply chain team in driving the roadmap processes tools reporting policies and metrics throughout the lifecycle of different initiatives. They will contribute to building and managing robust policies/processes technology/tools training governance and excellent customer service. This role interfaces with internal and external resources to ensure successful andtimelycompletionin accordance withthe annual business plan budget and schedule. This role requires someone who thrives in a flat fast-moving organization using lightweight processes creative ideas and quick iteration to make a significant impact.ResponsibilitiesSet up and run applicable Supply Chain MeetingsManage coordinate and support the team on planning events conferences and lunch & learn and other admin functionsSupport coordinate andassistin updating supply chain goals initiativeobjectiveswith stakeholders and across multiple platforms including excel Azure and otherManage and foster cross-functional relationships. Proactively engage stakeholders to driveadoptionof supply chain best practice development by providing input including identification and education of new or upcoming supply chain trendsDevelop and deliver compelling communications presentations and training to educateinfluenceand inform stakeholders across the family of companiesParticipatein the larger Quarterly Market Report byidentifying interviewing and writing a Supply Chain Success Story providing DPR front-line teams and customers insights to help them proactively manage potential disruptions and understand upcoming market conditions.IncreaseExternal Engagement improve connections and influence industry shift in construction supply chain practices including engaging withcollegesthrough Executive boards and teachingincluding:aidin collegiate teaching opportunities w construction programs at two target universitiessupport OESPreCon and our recruiting team to engage with top collegiate supply chain and AEC programs that fit our target college recruiting schools for talent and pipeline development through events guest lecture opportunities and networking opportunitiesIncrease External Engagement improve connections and influence industryshiftinconstruction supply chainpracticesincluding engaging with industry leaders through a Council of Supply Chain against industry leaders for best practice and ID opportunities to partner with other firms to advance SC within construction (AECSCC)Aidinincreasingengagements and speaking events at conferencesParticipate in volume incentive programs via data collection in coordination with OES and stakeholders forpotentialnew andrenewingdeal & relationship managementIdentifyopportunities for central purchasing ofappropriate items and work with OES to incorporate those products into OES offeringsBasic Qualifications B.A. or B.S. degreein Supply Chain Management AEC orBusiness or equivalentworkexperience plus2 years of supply chain experienceUnderstands the textbook principles of Supply Chain ManagementAble to build strong relationshipsboth internally and externally including with colleges to build astronger understandingofand interest inSupply Chain as it relates to the construction industryResilient and able to adapt to challenges andbalance multiple initiatives at onceProventrack recordin supporting execution of strategies policies processes and systems with the ability to support driving change within a matrixed organizationStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to develop embrace and deploy innovative solutionsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailHighly proactive with diligent follow-through on commitmentsAble to work under pressureAbility and willingness to work across multiple time zones and travel as neededStrong customer service commitment for internal and external stakeholdersFocused on creating a positive work environmentDPR Construction is a forward-thinking self-performing general contractor specializing in technically complex and sustainable projects for the advanced technology life sciences healthcare higher education and commercial markets.
