When our customer’s products are on our line, we put our reputation right beside it.THE ROLEThe Supply Chain Manager oversees the process of sourcing and delivering products from origin to consumer, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction and timely delivery. Key responsibilities include planning and optimizing logistics, managing inventory, negotiating with suppliers and analyzing data to improve supply chain performance. They must also ensure product quality, customer satisfaction throughout the supply chain, highly proficient in networking, and understanding the needs of the client. Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve overall performance, including inventory management, demand forecasting and production planningSource materials, negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors and manage those relationships to ensure quality and favorable pricingCoordinate the movement of goods, from raw materials to finished products, and manage relationships with transportation and distribution providersMonitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing storage and carrying costsAnalyze key performance indicators, identify bottlenecks, and use data to make informed decisions for process optimizationAddress and resolve issues such as delivery delays or supply shortagesWork with other departments to align supply chain activities with broader organizational goalsEnsure all supply chain operations adhere to safety guidelines and quality standards THE ESSENTIALSBachelor’s degree in supply chain management preferred, and three (3) years related work experience, or six (6) years related work experience post high school or GED.Knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, and transportation.Demonstrated experience with forecasting and analytics.Demonstrated supervisory experience with ability to set clear objectives for a team with a proven record of being able to drive results through others.Ability to draft and negotiate contracts, prices, and other vendor requirements.Ability to manage multiple clients and suppliers.Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office; MAC experience preferred. Highly proficient in Excel is preferred.Ability to understand complex written and oral instructions.Ability to effectively communicate, present information, and respond to questions in verbal and written format, both internally and externally.Ability to organize, multi-task, plan and set priorities with minimal supervision.Ability to work independently and be highly motivated.Ability to exercise good judgment with a strong attention to detail.Ability to exhibit strong interpersonal communication skills and establish and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of Grandstand. Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance for car rental.Regular and reliable attendance combined with being dependable and prompt.PHYSICAL DEMANDSAbility to lift and move objects up to 20 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at times.Ability to perform basic physical activities required within an office environment and assist with basic inventory responsibilities. Ability to consistently sit and use computer terminal, frequently walk, reach, finger pick, feel, crouch/squat, kneel, and use arm/hand.Ability to occasionally stand, use stairs, lift/lower, carry, and push/pull.WORK ENVIRONMENTProfessional and deadline-oriented environment in an office setting.Interaction with staff and customers.Air and ground travel may occur.ADITIONAL DUTIESAdditional duties and responsibilities may be added to this job description at any time.
