The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Whitehall seeking Supply Chain Managers who want more than a lateral move. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency cost and quality. Manage all aspects of procurement including supplier selection negotiation and contract management for raw materials and components. Oversee inventory management across the entire supply chain ensuring optimal stock levels to meet production demands and minimize carrying costs. Coordinate logistics and distribution activities including inbound material flow and outbound finished goods to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Collaborate with production sales and engineering teams to develop accurate demand forecasts and production plans. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks including supplier performance geopolitical factors and material shortages. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain to enhance operational performance and reduce waste. Recommended Qualifications 5 years of progressive experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Operations or a related field. Proven proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and supply chain planning tools. Strong understanding of procurement inventory optimization logistics and demand forecasting. Demonstrated leadership negotiation and cross-functional collaboration skills. Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification. Proficiency with advanced data analytics and visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau). APICS CSCP or CPIM certification. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Experience with specific advanced planning systems (e.g. SAP APO Kinaxis).
