Hospital employed General Surgery Opportunity 1 hour North of Dallas - 125,000-square-foot medical center- 2 medical/surgical beds- 6-bed ICU- 12-bed women s center- 15-bed outpatient surgery center- expanded ED w/ 5 fast-track, 3 trauma, 3 specialty rooms- Other services include: cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, cardiac and vascular diagnostics, therapy services (physical, speech and occupational therapy), diagnostic imaging (CT, MRI, MRA, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, digital mammography and bone density), and laboratory services- 20,000 square foot MOB w/ independent dialysis center- 2nd MOB (10,000 square foot) with several medical specialists in 3 suites DETAILS:- REASON: current GS is retiring - Hospital employed position- CASE MIX: heavy scopes, general surgical cases, bariatrics Bariatric cases proficiency a plus- Busy, established practice- SCHEDULE: full time- NO robot- Level IV Trauma Center- CALL: 1:2 (1 to 2 calls per month requiring onsite response) Minimum of 10 call days per month included in base payCall above 10 days is compensatedMust live within 30 minutes of hospital for callPotential for mortgage downpayment assistance if permanent residence is within 15 miles of the hospital.
