There is a local 10-physician primary care network to supply patient referrals. This expansive service area of Southwest Virginia and Southeastern Kentucky holds huge potential.Goal is to find a general surgeon who shares the same philosophy as the Medical Group in being able to accommodate patients at home and not transfer them out of the area for their care. The hospital has expressed a large amount of flexibility to fit the needs of the new physician.
