The hospital is a Level 2 trauma center, offering advanced neurosurgical care with state-of-the-art technology and a collaborative team environment.Opportunity:Board Certified - Neurological SurgeryJob Details:• Provide general neurosurgery services with 20-25 patient encounters per shift• Focus on adult neurosurgery with trauma management• Opportunity to work with pediatric and neonate cases (preferred)• Potential involvement in cerebrovascular procedures, including open and endovascular techniques• May perform carotid or vertebral artery surgery and aneurysm clipping as needed• Handle various neurosurgical cases including tumors, neuroendocrine surgery, and stereotactic radiosurgery• Perform functional neurosurgery, seizure management, and VP shunt procedures• Conduct spinal surgery with and without instrumentation (cervical, thoracic, and lumbar regions)• Manage peripheral nerve surgery and pain procedures• Place ICP monitors and apply external traction when necessary• Skills in ventilator management and central line placement beneficial• Active Indiana medical license required (no IMLC accepted)• BLS certification required• Credentialing timeframe approximately 30-60 days• Assignment begins January 1, 2025 with ongoing opportunitiesCompensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
