Position Overview As a Patient Care Coordinator, you'll play an essential role in ensuring patients receive timely, well-coordinated care. You'll work closely with providers, patients, hospitals, and outside facilities to schedule procedures and manage the details that make everything run smoothly. Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule in-office and off-site procedures
  • Communicate with patients, providers, and outside facilities to ensure everyone is informed
  • Schedule with outside vendors, providers, and hospitals as needed
  • Maintain provider schedules within the EMR system
  • Prepare and send required documentation prior to procedure dates
  • Obtain prior authorizations for applicable procedures
  • Coordinate pre-op and post-op appointments
  • Ensure patient accounts and scheduling details are accurate
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively with leadership, staff, and providers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical office or clinic setting
  • Availability of 30-40 hours per week
  • Primary location: Oshkosh
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged sitting and computer work with high phone volume
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required
  • Ability to travel between clinic locations as needed
