As a Surgery Scheduler you will manage surgical schedules verify documentation and collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to support safe efficient operations.Highlights:Coordinate surgical schedules across multiple departmentsPartner with physicians clinical staff and ancillary teamsWork in a fast-paced mission-driven hospital settingWhat You Will Do:Maintain accurate surgery schedules and monitor for errorsCommunicate with physician offices to align surgeon availabilityVerify orders for completeness and medical necessityCoordinate staffing equipment and supply needs for scheduled proceduresEnsure compliance with Medicare ABN CPT coding and insurance requirementsCollaborate with departments such as Surgery Cath Lab Infusion Center and Pre-Surgical TestingProvide exceptional customer service and maintain confidentialityWhat You Will Need:High school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum 2 years of experience in medical scheduling or related fieldStrong knowledge of medical terminology anatomy and surgical proceduresFamiliarity with insurance authorization and pre-certification processesExcellent organizational skills attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with computer systems and scheduling softwarePreferred Qualifications:Experience in a physician office or hospital settingKnowledge of third-party payor policies and CMS guidelinesApply today and be part of a team that values accuracy collaboration and compassionate care in every surgical experience.Our Commitment Rooted in our Mission and Core Values we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives experiences and talents each colleague brings.
