The Division of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy at Loyola University Medical Center (LUMC) is recruiting a BC/BE Vascular Surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing group of academic surgeons. This position is designated for a vascular surgeon with an established research portfolio with existing funding or an intention to pursue funding. Start-up funds commensurate with the research portfolio are available. Areas of focus may include clinical outcomes, translational, informatics, or basic science research. The position will have a 6/8ths appointment at the Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital, including dedicated time for research.The ideal candidate would possess at least 3-5 years of experience, with excellent clinical and a collaborative approach to patient care.The position includes providing patient care at the Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital, which sits adjacent to the LUMC campus. On-call coverage encompasses the VA hospital in addition to LUMC.
