Performs therapeutic procedures such as wound care crutch and gait training and provides patient instruction on exercise. Works closely with the clinic team for optimal patient care. Greet and educate patients on the anatomical aspects of their visit. Perform telephone and general office duties including scheduling appointments for diagnostic examinations and physical therapy according to physicians orders.Job RequirementsIn addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day qualified candidates will need the following:Bachelor Degree2 years of related experience including experience evaluating and assessing patient injury required.2 years OR experience preferredMust be willing and able to travel and work irregular hours.Must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse populationincluding but not limited to athletes coaches administrative staff physicians volunteers and other medical personnel.Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information. Verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.Must be proficient with Windows-style applications various software packages specific to the role and keyboard.Strong interpersonal skills.
