Helps to ensure patient safety and quality of care by performing various tasks and duties that provide technical assistance and support to medical/surgical staff and personnel during and in the turnover of surgical procedures. Specializes in multiple surgical services lines and potentially works with neonates pediatric adolescent adult and geriatric patients.QualificationsGraduate of an accredited surgical technology program.Visual color acuity screening depending on the role in specific units.Must hold American Heart Associations Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).PREFERREDCertification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Technologist in Surgery- Certified (TS-C) through the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)Work Hours:0645-1915Weekend Requirements:No Key Skills Aseptic Technique,Hospital Experience,Acute Care,Anatomy Knowledge,Basic Life Support,Computer Skills,Physiology Knowledge,Military Experience,Suturing,Medical Terminology,Sterile Processing Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
