Domestically, Universal employs over 1,000 permanent and seasonal workers, and its revenues ending March 31, 2023, were $2.6 billion.For more information on Universal, visit our website at www.universalcorp.comSummaryAs a Sustainability/ESG Intern at Universal, you will report to and take direction from the Sustainability Manager.What You'll Be Doing (Essential Duties)ESG data management, analysis, and reporting for global operations in cooperation with other departmentsAssist with the Company’s annual sustainability report and submissions to the Carbon Disclosure ProjectDesk-based and internet research related to ESG and sustainability topicsProvide general support for operational and sustainability needsMinimum RequirementsCollege Sophomore, Junior, or Senior currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Environmental Sciences, Data Analytics, Sustainability, Engineering, or other related disciplinesInterest in developing an understanding or applying previous knowledge towards the topics of corporate sustainability, international business, and/or environmental disclosure.High level of commitment to developing excellence in technical and/or business skills.Effective analytical, planning, and organizational skills.Excellent interpersonal skills.Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPointExcellent verbal and written communication skills.EOE M/F/Disabled/Vet EmployerAll applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
