What Youll DoSummary/Objective:The position provides overall leadership for the project management & business analysis teams enterprise-wide project governance portfolio management and large-scale transformation initiatives. This role ensures disciplined execution of projects that deliver on the organizations strategic objectives. By driving operational excellence and fostering a culture of accountability the SVP enables innovation empowers members and strengthens trust in the credit unions ability to deliver reliable financial experiences. Success in this role ensures projects are delivered on time within scope and with measurable business impact.Essential Functions:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Manage the EPMO Teams and Strategic PortfolioLead and develop the EPMO teams ensuring team objectives are metOversee the enterprise portfolio of initiatives ensuring balanced investment and measurable outcomesMonitor performance metrics and deliver transparent reporting to executive leadership and the boardDrive decision-making on project continuation acceleration or termination based on business valueLead Enterprise Project GovernanceEstablish and enforce project management standards frameworks and methodologies across the organizationEnsure alignment of all projects with corporate strategy and regulatory requirementsProvide executive oversight for project prioritization resource allocation and risk managementDeliver Large-Scale TransformationLead planning and execution of complex cross-functional transformation programsEnsure timely delivery of merger-related integration projects and strategic initiativesChampion change management practices to support adoption and minimize disruptionEnable Business Analysis and InsightsDirect the business analysis function to provide actionable insights for project scoping and requirementsEnsure accurate documentation of business needs and alignment with technology solutionsPromote data-driven decision-making throughout the project lifecycleFoster Innovation and Continuous ImprovementIntegrate design thinking and lean methodologies into project delivery where applicableIdentify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance project efficiencyBuild a high-performing team culture focused on collaboration accountability and resultsPerform other job-related duties as assigned or requestedComplies with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirementsWhat Youll NeedEducation & Experience:Required education: Bachelors degree or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree advanced degree is preferredRequired experience: 12 - 15 years of relevant experience including 10 years as a people leaderQualifications & Skills:Skills:Expertise in project governance portfolio management and change leadershipStrong strategic planning and analytical capabilitiesExceptional communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to lead cross-functional teams and influence at all levelsTechnical Knowledge:Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Microsoft Project Smartsheet or similar)Familiarity with portfolio management tools and reporting dashboardCertifications: PMP PgMP or Portfolio Management Profession (PfMP) required; Agile or Lean certifications preferredOther requirements: Ability to travel between dual headquarters (MA or OR) and to key project sites as neededWhat We DoDCU is the largest credit union headquartered in New England serving more than one million members in all 50 states.
