Job Title: SW Test Architect Location: Bethpage NY (Onsite) relocation is fine Duration :: Contract 1. Deep Telecom BSS/OSS Domain Expertise The HM wants someone who has hands-on experience in Amdocs billing and ordering ecosystems particularly: Amdocs Billing (Kenan CES) Order Management systems (Ensemble SVO SOM/OM) Provisioning and activation systems The candidate must understand how these systems integrate how orders flow and how billing/charging processes work end-to-end. 2. Strong Test Architecture Background They need someone who can define the overall testing strategy not just execute tests. This includes: Creating test frameworks test approaches test plans Leading end-to-end testing across multiple systems Ensuring test coverage across ordering billing activation provisioning This is a senior solution-level testing role not a hands-on QA tester. 3. Device Activation & Provisioning Test Knowledge Testing device activation journeys (SIM activation handset activation feature provisioning) Understanding network provisioning flows APIs system triggers middleware involvement Troubleshooting activation failures and validating back-end logs This is essential because the role touches customer activation processes. 4. Hands-On Experience With Key Telecom Products They are looking for someone who has worked directly with some of the following systems: Kenan (billing) Amdocs CES (Customer Experience Suite) Ensemble / SVO (Service/Order orchestration) Order Management systems Provisioning systems (network activation number management) The more exposure across these the stronger the match. 5. Ability to Lead Cross-Functional Testing Guiding multiple teams (dev QA architects operations) Align test strategy with business requirements Own E2E validation for new features migrations system modernization efforts This role often acts as the testing SME in large telecom transformation programs. 6. Telecom E2E Flow Understanding Ideal candidates can articulate: Customer onboarding flows Order capture order orchestration provisioning activation Rating charging billing processes Product catalog impacts This is critical for building the right test architecture.
