Job Summary
Blue Lagoon Pools is seeking an experienced Construction Crew Lead to manage and execute in-ground pool installations.
This is a leadership role, not a laborer position. You will be responsible for running job sites, leading a crew, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a construction crew on active job sites
- Perform and oversee:
- Excavation and grading
- Pool plumbing installation
- Concrete forming and finishing
- Equipment installation (filters, pumps, heaters)
- Basic electrical coordination (bonding, conduit, rough-ins)
- Read and interpret construction plans
- Maintain job site safety, cleanliness, and productivity
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers
- Keep projects on schedule
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years construction experience (pool experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of excavation, grading, and site layout
- Proficiency in pool plumbing and hydraulic systems
- Experience with concrete forming, pouring, and finishing
- Ability to operate heavy equipment (excavators, skid steers, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and layouts
- Solid understanding of job site safety and best practices
- Strong leadership and crew management skills
- Ability to problem-solve in real time and make decisions on-site
- Excellent time management and job sequencing skills
- Clear communication with crew, subs, and management
- High level of accountability and ownership of work
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications
- Pool construction experience
- CDL license ( A Plus)
- Experience with project scheduling and site management
