Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Summary: Our company is seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to manage a development and testing computer lab environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Cisco Catalyst, Cisco UCS, VMware, Microsoft Active Directory, VDI, VPN, DNS, and various support IT services like Terraform and other automation software. The primary responsibility of this role will be to maintain infrastructure, ensure all users have appropriate access, and implement emerging technologies as needed.Responsibilities:Manage and maintain the development and testing computer lab infrastructure, including Cisco Catalyst, Cisco UCS, VMware, and Microsoft Active DirectoryImplement and support VDI, VPN, DNS, and other IT services as neededManage access control and permissions for all users in the development and testing computer lab environmentMonitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they ariseImplement and maintain backup and recovery systems for critical dataCollaborate with other teams to ensure that the development and testing computer lab environment is aligned with project goals and objectivesKeep abreast of emerging technologies and implement them as needed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the systemProvide training and support to end-users as neededDevelop and maintain system documentation, policies, and proceduresRequirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred, but NOT required.Minimum of 5 years of experience in system administrationStrong knowledge of Cisco Catalyst, Cisco UCS, VMware, Microsoft Active Directory, VDI, VPN, DNS, and various support IT services like Terraform and other automation softwareExperience with system monitoring and troubleshootingExperience with backup and recovery systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentStrong documentation and organizational skillsThis is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly skilled System Administrator to join a dynamic and innovative team.
