This job is onsite in Annapolis Junction, MDActive Top Secret/SCI Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph is required.We are looking for a System Engineer with senior-level Java Developer experience.  Join the team as a System Engineer to design and develop modular components for advanced government applications. Collaborate on complex SIGINT and multimedia solutions, leveraging your developer skill set in Java, Node/TypeScript, and React. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to troubleshoot, design, and implement solutions that support critical missions. Five (5) years of additional experience may substitute for a bachelors degreeSenior-level Java developer experienceExperience with Node/TypeScript and junior- to mid-level React developmentProven Linux backgroundExperience with designing and developing modular components used in other applicationsSuccess troubleshooting and solving complex problemsStrong written and oral communication skills, including experience with presentations, briefings, and technical documentationNice to have:Senior-level experience with signal processing of audio/video contentKnowledge of multimedia file/streaming formats, audio/video compressionFamiliarity with SIGINT data flowMid-level Python development skillsExperience with web traffic analysis and DevOps pipelines (junior- to mid-level)Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services
