System Test Engineer at Experis

Our client seeking a System Test Engineer to join their team. As a System Test Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting the development and verification of electro-mechanical medical devices. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: System Test Engineer

Location: Minneapolis, MN - onsite

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and verify test methods and protocols on Linux-based platforms to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Perform system verification testing of electro-mechanical products, including hardware and software integration.
• Create comprehensive verification plans aligned with product requirements and specifications.
• Identify, document, and resolve issues during testing, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve product performance.
• Lead and support industry standards testing such as safety and EMC according to 60601-1.

What's Needed?

• Experience working in regulated industries with knowledge of QMS and SOPs.
• Hands-on experience in system verification, especially in medical devices, with at least one full product cycle.
• Proficiency in designing and executing test cases, validation, and risk management including failure mode analysis.
• Strong documentation skills for system architecture, design control, and verification reports.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is advantageous.
