Clearance Required: Top Secret Education Required: BA/BS or HS/GED and Equivalent Work Experience US Citizenship: Required SummaryThe MIL Corporationseeks aSystems Administrator (Systems Administration, Analyst)to support a Federal Government client in Patuxent River, MD. This is aSystems Administrator role that will manage Microsoft Windows based computer systems in support of the NIFT (NAVAIR Internal Flow Test) program.This position currently requires an on-site schedule, with 5 days on-site and is eligible for Compressed Work Schedule (CWS). Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, administer,supportandmaintainMicrosoft Windows and Linux operatingsystemsAdminister and support VMware server/clusterenvironmentImplement Risk Management Framework (RMF)methodologyon assignedsystemsMaintain and update operating system securitypatchesMaintain the system configuration standard using DoD based Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, coordinate resolution with internal technical resources and externalvendorsDocument maintenance,repairs,and test activities; as well as include documentation updates as an integral part of everyprojectFollow change control procedures during new implementations and changes to existingsystemsCreate andmaintainsystem documentation, diagrams, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Research and implement automated processes to improve operationalefficiencyAnalyze andmonitorthecapacityand performance of systems and software applications and make recommendations for improvements asnecessaryPerform other duties and projects asassignedTravel5% - 10% to other sites, as neededRequired Qualifications3+ years of experience in Microsoft Windows System AdministrationActive Security+ CE certificationExtensive knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)Knowledge of Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) and Security Technical Implementation Guide(STIG)experienceFamiliarity with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)Familiarity with the RMF (Risk Management Framework) processAbility to work independently and as part of ateamExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be flexible with work schedule to include occasional weekendsFrequently required to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs., and occasionallyrequiredto lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.Desired QualificationsKnowledge of Navy systems,Networks, and IT infrastructure5+ years of senior level System Administrator experienceMicrosoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate is aplusEducationBachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education and/or advanced certification;aMaster'sdegree will be considered in lieu of 2 years of professionalexperienceClearanceAll applicants for this positionmustpossessa currentTop Secretclearance; please note that the clearance process considers financial background aspects.CompensationThe MIL Corporation values your contributions and offers a range of benefits to support your overall well-being. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL's complete compensation package.
