As an intern you will take on meaningful work engage in out-of-the-box problem solving and participate in global case challenges and impactful initiatives. You will get the chance to work with multiple teams systems and products through a wide variety data sources. From technology to business we are looking for people who can innovate collaborate and bring Visa into the next level of a rapidly evolving digital marketplace.During the internship you will work on one or more hands-on projects with the team. Our summer internship also equips you with social and professional networking events and developmental workshops designed to provide you the resources and training to have an impactful summer.Some examples of previous summer intern job duties and projects:Leverage Generative AI tools to automate system administration tasks streamline workflows and reduce manual interventionMonitor system health using AI-driven analytics and proactively address potential issues before they impact service availabilityCommunicate and work in a global distributed team Maintain and manage SharePoint lists and workflow to improve process and efficiencyIdentify a pattern in existing historic data and suggest improvementsCollaborate with the team to transform data to help make business decisions and build insightsEmploy creative methods for problem solvingAs a summer Intern you will be placed in one of the technology organizations at Visa and specific assignments will depend on upon your skills sets interest and team needs.Qualifications : Basic QualificationsPursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Data Science CIS/MIS or a related field graduating December 2026-August 2027.Preferred QualificationsProficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as Java JavaScript HTML Python Perl shell scripting Jupyter Notebook etc.Experience with the setup configuration and maintenance of server and storage hardware (e.g. Dell HPE Supermicro) and GPU platforms (e.g. NVIDIA)Familiarity with Generative AI tools and concepts and an interest in applying them to infrastructure managementKnowledge of cloud technologies and platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Familiar with data visualizing tools like Excel MS Power BI Tableau etc.SQL query skills or familiarity with RDBMS would be a plusShowcase hands-on data handling to leverage new technologies to help drive critical business decisionsStrong written and verbal communications skillsThe ability to take on challenges and address problems head-on Strong ability to collaborateHighly driven resourceful and results orientedGood team player and excellent interpersonal skillsGood analytical and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to lead and navigate through ambiguityAdditional Information : U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated hourly range for a new hire into this position is $35-$40/hr which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge skills experience and addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
