We uphold the integrity and quality of our work so you can expect only the best from us.RSC2 is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to support Product Manager Information Warfare Cyber Infrastructure (PdM IWCI) in offensive cyber program initiatives. The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for designing developing and implementing complex cyber systems within the IWCI portfolio focusing on technical infrastructure data analysis development security practices cloud engineering strategies and ensuring the stability and efficiency of the platform often utilizing advanced programming languages and quantitative analysis techniques to system performance. This is an opportunity to be involved in the newly formed PM Cyber & Space and be a part of the rapidly growing Cyber Infrastructure Product Office responsible for key capabilities within the offensive cyber operations world.Responsibilities:Collaborate with component teams requirements owners DoD component teams and developmental contractors; the collaboration includes operational requirements translation into software requirements designs implementations developmental planning artifacts.Support efforts of execution platforms including cloud multi-cloud system of systems commercial/government software applications. Design implement document and manage systems in respect to training testing automation troubleshooting DevSecOps and CI/CD. Collaborate with the defense industrial complex science and technology partners. Conducts reviews and assesses developmental contractor software code to ensure compliance with government-provided coding and cybersecurity standards. Participates in government oversight of contractor software development activities to include as a supporting team member in agile development paradigm activities (e.g. scrums sprint retrospectives) develops software acceptance criteria and generating recommendations to the government Assistant Product Manager; all require development development planning development/test automation tools requirements prioritization test evaluation cross-system integration and fielding/delivery and post-delivery support of software-based systems.RequirementsActive TS/SCI ClearanceBachelors Degree and 10 years of direct experience with software development. Four additional years of direct relevant technical experience in lieu of degree acceptable3 years in cyber or C4ISR systems.Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum Kanban Scaled Agile Framework).Experience with Cloud Solution Management (e.g. AWS Azure Google Terraform).Experience with DevOps tools (e.g. Jira Confluence Git).Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery.Experience with Unix-based (e.g. RedHat Ubuntu etc.) and Windows Operating Systems.Familiarity with Application Programming Interfaces.Experience with Ansible Playbooks.Experience with Zero-Trust Architecture and Secure Coding Practices.Experience with Python and/or Java development.Familiarity with DoD 5000 acquisition lifecycle processes.Excellent communications skills including the ability to generate and deliver focused briefings on complex topics to senior leaders.Proven experience leading teams and participating in government SETA oversight of vendor teams.Ability to work on and/or lead multi-functional/multi-disciplinary teams.Excellent communications skills including the ability to generate focused technical documentation on complex topicsMust be able to work in a team environment and execute tasks on-quality and on-time.Work Location: Hanover MDEmployment Type: Full-time Salary-ExemptBenefits Package: We offer a top tier benefits package which includes medical dental vision PTO employer matching retirement plan and more!We are an equal opportunity employer. The projected compensation range for this position is $89000 to $210000 (annualized USD).
