Cradle to grave ownership of new products.Lead team to deliver technical proposal (design concept compliance matrix cost estimate and timeline.Support the hardware and software design groups as well as the verification and validation stream in the interpretation of requirements for implementation and testabilityCompose system requirements and decompose to lower levels for aerospace technologies such as high-speed digital busses small form-factor power supplies air data computing devices using CPUs microcontrollers DSPs etc.Direct interaction with customers and international travelMentor and elevate the team sharing expertise and modeling curiosity accountability and respectPreferred Qualifications:Experience in Aerospace new product developmentExperience with MIL-STD-810 MIL-STD-461 DO-178B with verification and validation activitiesExperience with electronic hardware and firmware designWhat You Bring:Bachelors degree with a minimum of 7 years experience in Aerospace new product development.Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives that move the needleClear confident communicator who thrives in diverse collaborative environmentsHigh integrity and ownership mindset - you do the right thing even when its hardMust be able to work with ITAR products and related data without restrictionPhysical Requirements:Restrictions are limited only by individuals inability to perform essential job duties and where an unsafe condition would result for the individual or surrounding employeesRequired lifting weight: 35 lbs.
