Job DescriptionJob DescriptionArgo Cyber Systems is seeking an experienced Systems Programmer (Web/SharePoint) to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable web and collaboration platforms in support of DoD and Federal missions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in web programming, interface development, and data management-leveraging modern technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and C++, as well as hands-on SharePoint development and administration experience. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that Argo and its clients' web-based systems remain functional, secure, and aligned with organizational objectives.This position is contingent on contract award. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, code, and maintain web-based applications, portals, and internal collaboration systems using modern programming languages and frameworks.Develop and manage SharePoint sites, workflows, lists, and document libraries to support business and mission requirements.Build user interfaces (UI) that are responsive, accessible, and consistent with DoD web design standards.Integrate databases and back-end systems with front-end applications for efficient data flow and system performance.Perform debugging, testing, and performance optimization to ensure stable and secure applications.Maintain and update system documentation, technical specifications, and user manuals.Implement and enforce security best practices in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II and NIST SP 800-53 guidelines.Collaborate with cybersecurity engineers, system administrators, and functional stakeholders to ensure applications meet mission, performance, and security objectives.Support system upgrades, migrations, and integration efforts as part of enterprise modernization initiatives.Required QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).Experience: Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in programming, web development, or systems engineering.Certifications: Must meet DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II requirements (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, or CySA+).Clearance: Active Secret (T3 investigation) or ability to obtain.Proficiency in:Web development languages and frameworks (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C++)SharePoint site and workflow development (on-premises and/or Online)Debugging, testing, and deployment of web-based systemsDatabase integration and version control practicesPreferred QualificationsExperience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Power Automate, and Power Apps.Familiarity with .NET, SQL Server, and REST API integration.Knowledge of Azure, Microsoft 365, and cloud-hosted collaboration environments.Prior experience supporting DoD or Navy web systems or network engineering teams.Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Developer Associate, MCSA: Web Applications, or ITIL v4.About Argo Cyber SystemsArgo Cyber Systems, LLC is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) providing advanced cybersecurity, IT engineering, and enterprise technology solutions to the U.S. Government.
