Working closely with our Director of Data Analytics you will own the design development and maintenance of high-impact dashboards that drive our decision-making.Day-to-DayOwn the creation maintenance and documentation for datasets from Google Cloud Platform Google Analytics or SalesforceUtilize Tableau and Dataform to design reports and analytics to fulfill business requirements and provide insight into key data pointsInterface with cross-team stakeholders to uncover deeper insights and maximize the impact of analysesDevelop actionable insights from existing datasetsUtilize SQL in Dataform/Google Cloud Platform to collect understand transform cleanse store and share data in a privacy-preserving way (ELT)Educate business users in the effective use of their analytic solutions Quality ImpactPerform data validation to ensure the accuracy of analytical solutions developedMay conduct or assist with conducting audits on datasets to ensure that standardized KPIs or related metrics are being usedCleanse merge or reformat inaccurate or malformed data at the direction of leadershipAdhere to and promote analytic best practices for consistent performance accuracy quality and reliabilityProvide maintenance to existing Tableau dashboardsTeam ImpactWork collaboratively with team members in your department and cross-departmentally to gain diverse viewpointsPartner with business stakeholders to design and develop efficient and standards-based BI solutions using Tableau that satisfy business information reporting needsProactively identify areas that they can assist and streamline processes alongside fellow team members in areas such as: data collection data transformationQualifications and Skills2 years experience working as a data analyst or data-related roleBachelors degree is preferredAdvanced proficiency in Tableau Desktop Tableau Server and Tableau Prep BuilderExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsPassion for data analyticsExperience with SQL for data manipulation and extractionExperience with Dataform Google Cloud Platform PythonStrong understanding of data visualization best practices and principlesAttention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workExpertise/skills with both learning and sharingProfessional and adept with the ability to embrace technology and automationAdept at taking direction and applying it with accuracy and innovationCulture championAn individual who exemplifies our core values and cultural values like honesty trust having a good work ethic and pursuit of continuous self-improvement.
