This candidate is a bold business-minded talent advisor who is passionate about building teams that drive excellence.The Associate Director will serve as a trusted partner to senior leaders shaping and executing talent strategies that align with Vertexs mission to transform lives.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesLead full-cycle recruitment primarily focused on Director roles across Finance Accounting and Legal functions.Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders offering market intelligence compensation benchmarking and talent mapping.Deliver a white-glove candidate experience from initial outreach through offer negotiation reflecting Vertexs commitment to excellence.Build and maintain a network of senior-level talent through proactive sourcing and relationship management.Partner with HR Business Partners Total Rewards and business leaders on succession planning anticipating supply-demand gaps and refining our workforce strategy.Use data-driven insights to influence hiring decisions and optimize recruitment strategies.Drive change management by adopting innovative technologies and processes while demonstrating an enterprise mindset by setting standards and aligning recruitment strategies across the TA ecosystem.Leverage brand strategy to position Vertex as an employer of choice.Knowledge & SkillsDemonstrated recruitment expertise in Finance Accounting and/or Legal functions.Proven ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders with confidence and credibility.Expertise in executive search methodologies sourcing strategies and candidate assessment techniques.Strong storytelling and analytical skills; ability to translate data into actionable insights.Education & ExperienceBachelors degree strongly preferred.Typically requires 8 years of progressive recruiting experience including 3 years in executive search or senior-level hiring.Experience in biotech/pharma or other highly regulated industries strongly preferred.Pay Range:$146400 - $219600Disclosure Statement:The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal and state requirements.
