Job Description

Our client is recruiting for an organized and driven Sr Tax Accountant to join their family office team that provides integrated wealth management for two families. The Tax Accountant position will work closely with other team members and handle tax planning and compliance education risk management generational planning oversight of charitable trusts and delivery of financial planning services to family members along with some administrative responsibilities. Our client is a growing company looking for a passionate individual with high ethical standards and integrity to join the organization.Tax Knowledge and Expertise Tax planning for individuals partnership trust and foundations and estate planning projects Prepare or review income tax estimates and extensions and work closely with PwC on the preparation of returns for individuals partnership trust and foundations and individuals for various taxing authorities Research tax issues relating to entities and individuals Interact with corporate and individual trustees Proficient in the use of BNA and tax compliance software; CCH Pro Systems (including research and special allocations) a plus Prepare tax related meeting materials for family branch meetingsGeneral Accounting Communicate and report on individual investment asset allocations financial planning cash flow and income tax status Trust foundation and family partnership accounting administration and cash management Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting policies controls and documentation supporting all tax related tasks and procedures as necessaryAdministrative Work with entire team to support family members and day-to-day office duties Filing and record retention. Family Office / Wealth Management experience a plus Ability to plan organize and prioritize many tasks and responsibilities while maintaining a positive attitude; capable of multi-tasking with family and team members; effective time management skills; outstanding judgment and deadline oriented Strong written and verbal communication skills with family and team members; ability to handle issues quickly and promptly Works well independently or in team situation. Self-motivated pleasant and detail oriented with minimal supervision required.Role Requirements CPA with a bachelors degree in accounting or finance is required; MBA a plus 5 years of public accounting experience in tax Experience in preparation and researching high net worth individuals partnership trusts and private foundation income tax returns a plus Comfortable with technology in general; ability to update software Proficiency with Microsoft Office products specifically Excel Word Power Point Access and SharePoint Experience with Asset Vantage and Adobe Professional a plus Key Skills Tax Experience,Accounting Software,GAAP,QuickBooks,Accounting,Sage,Account Reconciliation,Analysis Skills,Research Experience,SOX,Microsoft Excel,Financial Analysis Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
