This position requires accounting knowledge combined with strong communication skills, analytical & problem-solving skills, a stellar work ethic, organization skills, and a fanatical approach to details. RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist in preparing tax returns for individuals or businesses according to federal, state, or local laws.Preparing tax forms, schedules, and worksheets for accounting purposes.Tracking down and researching information about clients’ investments or business operationsPerforming research and analysis on tax issues.Helping prepare tax planning strategies for clients.Providing general customer service and administrative support to staff members within an organization.Requirements:Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills Must be pursuing a degree in AccountingMust have completed at least one tax courseProfessionalism, dependability, integrity, and trustworthiness combined with a cooperative attitudeHighly motivated self-starter with ability to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlinesDedicated to superior client service.
