You will analyze financial data, interpret tax laws, and provide guidance on tax reporting requirements, aiming to optimize tax positions and minimize risks for businesses. As a Director, you will set the strategic direction and lead business development efforts, making impactful decisions and overseeing multiple projects while maintaining executive-level client relations. Your leadership will promote technological advances, creating an environment where people and technology thrive together.Responsibilities- Leading the development and implementation of tax reporting strategies to optimize client tax positions- Analyzing financial data and interpreting tax laws to provide strategic guidance on tax compliance and reporting requirements- Overseeing multiple client engagements, confirming alignment with PwC's values and maintaining client satisfaction- Driving business growth by identifying market opportunities and converting them into successful client engagements- Mentoring and developing the next generation of leaders within the tax services team- Promoting technological advancements to enhance tax reporting and compliance processes- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative tax solutions and strategies- Confirming adherence to professional and technical standards, including PwC's code of conduct and independence requirements- Building and maintaining executive-level client relationships to support long-term business development- Encouraging creative problem-solving and strategic thinking within the team to address complex tax challengesWhat You Must Have- At least a Bachelor's degree- At least 8 years of experience- At least one of the following: Certified Public Accountant, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunityWhat Sets You Apart- Demonstrating strategic leadership in tax operations transformation- Cultivating potential through mentoring and coaching future leaders- Driving business growth by identifying market opportunities- Promoting technological advances in tax services- Translating vision into actionable strategies for client success- Developing innovative solutions and structures for complex tax challenges- Excelling in executive-level client relations and engagement managementTravel RequirementsUp to 20%Job Posting End DateAugust 11, 2026The salary range for this position is: $150,000 - $438,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
