Tax Reporting Analyst at Volt

Volt is immediately hiring a Tax Operations Analyst in Pittsburgh, PA.

As a Tax Operations Analyst you will:

Supports the preparation and execution of tax reporting, regulatory filings, and related calculations for internal and external clients. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast?paced environment. The associate will assist in ensuring compliance with state and national regulations and contribute to the timely completion of key tax and regulatory cycles.

Key Responsibilities

Tax Reporting & Compliance

• Assist in performing tax-related calculations for internal and/or external clients.
• Support the preparation and completion of tax reporting and regulatory filing requirements in accordance with state and national regulations.
• Gather data, documentation, and supporting information needed to complete standard filings and reports.
• Determine liabilities, withholdings, and other required calculations to support accurate reporting.
• Assist with the implementation and execution of client tax and regulatory plans, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Respond to routine client inquiries regarding tax and regulatory calculations and reporting requirements.
• Support clients by addressing tax and regulatory questions raised by their investors.

Team & Client Support

• Contribute to the achievement of team goals and operational deliverables.
• Support a defined group of clients by providing consistent and timely service.
• Work collaboratively with internal partners to maintain accuracy, compliance, and client satisfaction.

Required

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Ability to work effectively in a high?volume, fast?paced environment.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively ask questions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred

• Prior U.S. tax reporting or compliance experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Exposure to or experience with AI?based tools and automation.

This is a Contract full time opportunity.

Pay Rate: $25.00 - $28.80 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
