Job DescriptionJob Description Location: Petersburg, VA Job Type: Full-Time / Part-TimePay Rate: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour (based on experience and certifications)Reliant Solutions, Inc. is seeking a professional and dependable Armed Security Officer to help protect our staff, clients, visitors, and property. This position requires a high level of professionalism, alertness, and the ability to respond quickly and effectively to any situation in a behavioral health services environment. Responsibilities· Patrol assigned areas to maintain a safe and secure environment.· Monitor entrances/exits and authorize personnel or visitor access.· Respond to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including medical and safety events.· Deter and respond to suspicious activities and security breaches.· Enforce company safety and security policies.· Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate activity logs.· Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed. Requirements· Minimum age: 21 years.· High school diploma or GED.· Current Armed Security Officer registration with the Virginia DCJS.· Current firearms certification and ability to maintain qualifications.· Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and physical fitness assessment.· Strong communication and decision-making skills.· Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods and respond quickly in emergencies.· First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred.· Prior law enforcement, military, or security experience a plus. Why Join Reliant Solutions?· Competitive pay.· Health, dental, and vision insurance for eligible employees.· Paid time off and holidays.· Ongoing professional training and certification support.Reliant Solutions, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
