Job DescriptionWe are seeking a passionate Board Certified Music Therapist to join our healthcare team, providing evidence-based music therapy to promote emotional, cognitive, and physical well-being across diverse populations. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to patient needs. Conduct individual and group sessions utilizing techniques like behavioral, art, dance, and recreational therapy. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care. Accurately document clinical activities adhering to HIPAA and CPT coding standards. Provide therapy for populations such as children with autism, dementia patients, and individuals recovering from addiction. Educate families and caregivers to reinforce progress outside sessions. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Requirements include certification as an MT-BC, experience working with diverse populations, knowledge of behavioral therapy, and familiarity with medical documentation. This is a contractual 1099 role with flexible, in-person scheduling, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact through creative therapeutic interventions.
